Fav Downtown NYC Places to Eat At: Part 1

There's no doubt that New York City has plenty of mouthwatering places to eat at. Now that restaurants are starting to open back up with takeout or outdoor dining, there are endless dining possibilities to choose from. It is especially important to support the small businesses around you, so here is part 1 of some of our favorite downtown small businesses to eat at.

Kong Sihk Tong

     

Here you can get a taste of the classic Hong Kong style breakfast place! There are the classics like rice noodles with hoisin sauce and peanut butter (cheung fun) to more trendy meals like Ovaltine french toast. Not only is their breakfast amazing, but also their lunch and dinner options are mouthwatering.

Chinatown Ice Cream Factory
Famous for their unique flavors, Chinatown Ice Cream Factory is one of our favorite dessert places in Chinatown. Definitely try out some of their amazing flavors, such as lychee rose and thai tea.

Da Yu Hotpot

Da Yu Hotpot is incredible if you want to experience luxurious dining. I never fail to feel lavish whenever I eat here! If this is your first time eating hot pot, definitely go to Da Yu! Your taste buds will thank you.

Lunas
As we've mentioned before, Luna's has one of our favorite slices in the city! We love going there for a quick slice, and their pizza never fails to amaze us. So delicious!


Alimama

Alimama is a great, cozy snack bar to check out in Chinatown. Their pastries are to die for, and we would totally recommend getting one of their cream puffs.

Hometown Hot Pot
If you are looking for a more casual place to eat hot pot, Hometown Hot Pot is your place. Their food quality is great for the price! 

Two Hands
If you love avocado toast, Two Hands is your spot! Would definitely recommend if you love breakfast food and room decor!


Paesano's of Mulberry Street


Paesano is a great restaurant to go to if you are looking for your classic pasta dishes. Its reasonable prices and delicious food are worth a visit!

Nyonya

Definitely check out Nyonya if you love Malaysian food! Its excellent food and great service makes the dining experience lovely.
