Canada Travel Diary

One of the many perks of living in NYC is that we're close to Canada, which means that we can take yearly trips there! If you are ever bored on a long weekend, definitely take a road trip up to Canada. There are tons of delicious restaurants, and just enough things to do for entertainment. Here are some of our favorite spots in Canada!

Niagara Falls

If you haven't seen the Niagara Falls yet, we would definitely recommend planning a visit! There, you can go on a boat tour and see the waterfalls up close! Not only will you get amazing pictures, but memories and views that you'll never forget. After going on the boat ride, you can walk through the city, where you'll come across many attractions and restaurants. Definitely worth spending your day here!

Downtown Toronto

If you love tall skyscrapers, downtown Toronto is for you! There are so many things you can do here, such as the Royal Ontario Museum, where you can admire beautiful artwork, the Graffiti Alley, where you can take tons of cool pics, the CN Tower, where you can see jaw dropping views of the city, and so much more! Downtown Toronto is also filled with the cutest coffee shops and vintage stores, so you can never get bored. However, if vintage isn't your thing, there are also plenty of other stores you can shop at, such as Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters. The possibilities are endless!

Markham

If you are looking for traditional Chinese food, Markham is the place you need to be! Unlike Niagara Falls and downtown Toronto, Markham is filled with less tourist attractions. Instead, it is filled with mouth-watering food that never seems to leave your mind. There are so many restaurants you should try, such as Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant or Sam's Congee Delight or Keung's Restaurant, that are the best of the best! Not only is the food amazing, but the desserts too! Definitely make sure to visit Sweet Turtle Desserts Inc or Cha Me Cha, where you will find delicious treats such as, mango sago or strawberry shaved ice. Markham is a great place to be if you are a foodie, or even if you just want to have a fun time.
